Salary: £66,000 – £100,000 + Car Allowance + Performance Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Solutions Architect to join a large-scale, asset-intensive organisation undergoing significant digital and operational transformation.
This role will provide strategic and technical leadership across a complex technology landscape, shaping solution architecture, driving innovation, and ensuring technology investments align with long-term business objectives.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, security specialists, and enterprise architects, you will define architecture roadmaps, create solution blueprints, and provide governance oversight for critical business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain domain architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Create high-level solution architectures and technical blueprints that support business objectives and future growth.
• Provide architectural leadership and guidance across multiple programmes and projects.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure alignment with organisational standards.
• Review and assure project delivery against approved architecture principles and governance requirements.
• Champion secure-by-design practices and ensure solutions meet security, resilience, and compliance requirements.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels and support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

We are looking for an experienced architecture professional with:

• Extensive experience designing and delivering complex OT enterprise solutions within large, asset-intensive environments.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture methodologies, frameworks, and governance practices.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical technology solutions.
• Experience working across infrastructure, applications, networks, integration, and security domains.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and Lean practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior business and technical leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
