We are looking for a Senior Lotus Notes Developer for a 6 month contract based in the UK, fully remote.

Job Description – The Role

Deloitte is looking for a Lotus Notes Developer to develop and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications, including workflow solutions and system integrations. The role involves supporting and improving existing systems, leading upgrades and migrations and working closely with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

What you’ll do;

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications, including client and web-based solutions.
• Design and implement workflow applications using Lotus Workflow (versions 3.01 to 9.0).
• Lead migration projects, including upgrading Notes applications from version 9.0 to 12.0 and migrating data to modern databases such as MongoDB and SQL Server.
• Integrate Lotus Notes applications with external systems such as Oracle, SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and Azure repositories using Java, LotusScript, LC LSX, and IBM Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI).
• Consume and develop web services (SOAP/REST) for functionalities such as digital signing and data exchange.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Lotus Notes applications and Domino Servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for applications, workflows, and integration processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team.
• Stay current with HCL Notes/Domino platform updates and industry best practices.

The skills you’ll need:

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Lotus Notes/Domino development and administration.
• Strong proficiency in LotusScript, Java, and Formula language.
• Experience with Domino Designer and Notes Client development.
• Expertise in Lotus Workflow design and implementation (versions 3.01 to 9.0).
• Proven experience in migrating Lotus Notes applications and data to newer versions and external repositories.
• Solid knowledge of integrating Lotus Notes with Oracle, SAP, MS Excel, MS Word, and other enterprise systems.
• Experience consuming and developing SOAP and REST web services.
