We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant to join a major UK public sector Corporate Services Modernisation Programme.

This high-profile transformation programme is modernising HR, Finance and Commercial services through policy, process, organisational, data and technology change, aligned with the Government Shared Services Strategy. Working across multiple Oracle Fusion workstreams, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the technical architecture, integrations and cloud solutions that underpin a large-scale Oracle Fusion implementation.

This is a hands-on technical consulting role suited to senior Oracle Fusion specialists with extensive implementation experience gained within systems implementation partners. It is not a programme management, technical support or BAU operations role.

The Role

As an Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant, you’ll provide technical leadership across the implementation life cycle, contributing to solution design, environment build, integrations, security architecture, testing and go-live activities.

Working closely with functional consultants, architects and programme leadership, you’ll ensure the successful technical delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, HCM and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions.

The role requires someone who is equally comfortable defining technical strategy and delivering hands-on technical configuration and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM and EPM implementation programmes.
• Design and build Oracle Fusion technical architecture and environments.
• Lead technical delivery throughout the implementation life cycle, from design through to go-live.
• Develop and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
• Contribute to Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) implementation and configuration.
• Support security architecture, technical testing and deployment activities.
• Work closely with functional consultants, architects and implementation partners to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and implementation artefacts.
• Provide technical leadership across complex, multi-supplier delivery environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM technical implementations.
• Minimum of 5 years in a technical lead or senior technical consultant role.
• At least two end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and HCM implementation programmes.
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle ERP, HCM and EPM Cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM).
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation methodologies and technical delivery life cycle.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Ability to work independently within a remote delivery team.

Desirable

• Experience with Oracle Process Automation (OPA).
• Knowledge of UK Government cloud hosting environments.
• Understanding of data sovereignty requirements and security frameworks, including:
  • NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
  • ISO 27001
  • Cyber Essentials Plus
