Technical Lead Okta

We are looking for a hands-on Okta Technical Lead to steer a critical identity management project through its next phase of maturity.

This is not a “greenfield” project; the foundation has been laid, and a test environment is currently in place. Your primary mission will be to validate the existing architecture, rectify potential configuration risks, and establish a robust, scalable path to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Oversight: Act as the subject matter expert for all things Okta, ensuring the configuration is secure, efficient, and “production-ready.”
• Hands-on Implementation: You aren’t just a strategist; you will be directly involved in the technical execution and troubleshooting.
• Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with our Delivery Lead and existing technical team to align technical milestones with business goals.
• Operational Excellence: Establish the framework for ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support once the system is live.

Experience

• You have a deep, proven track record of leading Okta implementations in complex, non-greenfield environments.
• You understand the nuances of DNS, environment segregation, and the pitfalls of “quick fixes” in identity architecture.
• You have experience building formal paths to production and defining support operations.
• You can translate technical risks into clear actionable plans for stakeholders.

£450.00 – £500.00/day
