Job Title: Java Developer- SC Cleared
Location: London, Croydon/Remote
Duration: 31/12/2026

Rate: 550GBP/Day(Inside IR35)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and services
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
Optimize application performance and scalability
Integrate APIs, third-party services, and databases
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java (Core Java, Java SE/EE)
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (eg, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Front End technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
