An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a values-led organisation as HR Manager. This is a broad and varied role, offering the chance to lead people initiatives, support senior leaders and drive positive organisational change.

The Role

• Lead and develop the organisation’s people strategy and HR initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to enhance culture, engagement and employee experience.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention activities.
• Drive leadership development and management capability programmes.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures and people processes.
• Lead organisational development and change initiatives.
• Manage workforce planning, succession planning and talent development activities.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.

About You

• Previous experience in an HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor, People Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident managing employee relations casework and advising managers.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
