Content Manager

I am excited to exclusively be supporting the recruitment of a Social Media Manager for a reputable agency in Glasgow City Centre. The Social Media Manager will focus on shaping client strategies and managing content output to ensure successful social performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of organic social media strategies across a portfolio of client accounts

• Plan and shape monthly content direction aligned to brand objectives and wider marketing goals
• Translate audience insight, cultural trends and performance data into creative content ideas
• Create and/or oversee delivery of social content including visuals, short-form video, captions and reactive posts
• Track and evaluate content performance, using insights to continuously improve output

• Act as a key client contact for organic social, presenting ideas and maintaining regular communication

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in social media or content creation in a marketing agency environment
• Proven ability to contribute to or lead organic social activity across multiple clients or brands
• Practical content creation skills, including basic design and/or video editing capability
• Strong understanding of how major social platforms operate and perform

• Comfortable working with analytics and using data to inform creative decisions

• Confident communicator with experience presenting work and working directly with clients
