Role Purpose The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities across the UK’s Corporate landscape, with a particular focus on Industrial organisations. Working closely with marketing, bid, operations and account management teams, the Business Development Manager will develop strategic relationships with decision-makers, understand customer challenges around water, wastewater and sustainability, and position their business as the partner of choice. Company The UK’s largest water retailer, they are the trusted partner for over 350k customer accounts across England and Scotland. Understanding of industrial water consumption, wastewater management or sustainability programmes.Knowledge of manufacturing sectors such as food and beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering, automotive or heavy industry.Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
