Overview
402 (Gravesend) Squadron RAF Air Cadets supports young people aged 12-20 through aviation, leadership, adventure training, community engagement and personal development. We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraising & Development Manager to help us strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Role Summary
The Volunteer Fundraising & Development Manager will identify fundraising opportunities, research grants, develop local partnerships, support sponsorship approaches and help plan practical fundraising activities.

We are looking for someone organised, proactive and confident in written communication. The volunteer should be comfortable researching opportunities, drafting written materials, approaching potential supporters and working collaboratively with a small volunteer team.

Time Commitment
Around 1-3 hours per week, worked flexibly and mostly remotely. Time may increase slightly around grant deadlines, fundraising events or recruitment periods, balanced by quieter weeks. Occasional evening or weekend availability for meetings or events would be helpful.
Location
DA11 0EU, Gravesend. Hybrid role – successful applicant must be in commutable distance of the centre (Joint Cadet Centre Gravesend, Grange Road).
