Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Electrician’s Mate to support commercial and renewable electrical installations across the UK. The role involves hands-on site work, assisting qualified electricians with all aspects of installation, testing, and commissioning. Ideal for someone keen to develop their trade skills within a professional and safety-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support electricians with commercial and renewable installations.
• Assist with containment, cable routing, pulling, fixing, and termination.
• Help with testing and commissioning under supervision.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on-site.
• Report progress or issues to the site lead or project manager.

Essential Requirements

• Experience as an Electrician’s Mate, Electrical Improver, or Electrical Labourer.
• Valid ECS or CSCS card.
• City & Guilds or EAL Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installations (Building & Structures).
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• AM2 Assessment.
• 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing.
• PV or EV Installation Course (C&G, EAL, or BPEC).
• ECS Gold Card.
